Bahrain participates in key Arab meeting on housing :

The 33rd session of the Arab Housing and Construction Ministers’ council has concluded in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Housing Minister Bassim bin Yaqoob Al Hamar led Bahrain’s delegation to the event held to spotlight ways of boosting partnership between the public and private sectors in the housing field as well as achieving citizens’ aspirations for better housing services.

The Housing Minister stressed Bahrain’s keenness to promote the role of the private sector as a key partner in providing decent housing for citizens with limited income. He described that as a strategic alternative in attaining the goals of the housing policy. He praised the role of the Arab Housing and Construction Ministers Council in exchanging experiences and mapping out housing policies in the Arab countries.

Specialists from public and private institutions in housing and urban development , representing many countries, participated in the conference which comprised more than 51 scientific papers accepted by the specialized committee in this sector.
