The Kuwaiti government decided to suspend work at ministries, government entities and public institutions for 15 days as of March 12 throughout March 29, as a precautionary procedure to curb the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

Ministers are asked to issue decisions regulating work at critical units necessary to function public utilities.

The GCC country also decided to halt trading at Boursa Kuwait today, March 12.

The cabinet also decided, in an extraordinary meeting on Wednesday, to suspend commercial air traffic at Kuwait International Airport starting from Friday midnight March 13, as well as limiting return flights for Kuwaiti citizens and their first-degree relatives.
