Dubai has announced plans to host an array of events, experiences and promotions to celebrate Kuwait National Day, which falls on February 25.
The line-up of events include a concert featuring Miami Kuwaiti Band, a fireworks display, performances from traditional bands, family-oriented activities at malls and activations at landmarks including Burj Khalifa and Dubai Frame.

Hotels in Dubai have also announced family packages and promotions in celebration of the National Day, a statement said.
Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, said:
“As Dubai sets to celebrate the National Day of Kuwait with great enthusiasm, the annual festivities speak volumes of the strong relations between the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, firmly bound by the same values and cultural backgrounds that we share.
“As we join the people of Kuwait in celebrating this joyous occasion, Kuwaiti visitors will not only be able to enjoy some of the best destination experiences and offers, but will also have the opportunity to extend their stay and be part of another great celebration – the Dubai Food Festival, which commences on February 26.”
The line-up of activities in Dubai includes:
21 February, main cultural stage, Global Village
Catch the renowned Miami Band from Kuwait from 9pm. The concert is included within Global Village’s entry ticket of AED15, and there will be a dedicated area for women and children.
25 February – 25 March, Dubai Festival City Mall
Dubai Festival City Mall will be hosting a special edition of its award-winning IMAGINE show, followed by a display of fireworks. Kuwaiti nationals can also enjoy special offers at the mall from February 25 to March 25.
25 February from 4–10pm, Al Nakheel Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, Dubai Festival City
Visitors and shoppers at these malls can enjoy performances by traditional bands such as Ayala and Harbiya, as part of the roaming entertainment that will be rolled out by shopping destinations in celebration of the National Day of Kuwait.
25 February, 7pm, Burj Khalifa
The world’s tallest building will celebrate the National Day of Kuwait with a projection of the Kuwaiti flag, alongside a Dubai Fountain show.
25 February, Dubai Frame, Za’abeel Park 3-7pm
Dubai Frame will celebrate Kuwait National Day with a projection of the Kuwaiti flag from 6pm onwards. Visitors will also get to enjoy performances by a traditional band on the same day.

Dubai Muncipality is offering Kuwaiti nationals free entry to all its public parks in Dubai. To gain free access to five family parks in Dubai, Kuwaiti nationals are required to show an identification card at the gate.
