On Saturday, government spokesman, Tareq Al-Mezrem said,
“Shops, malls, and barbershops in Kuwait will be closed due to coronavirus”.
So far, Kuwait is the first country to stop commercial flights from entering the country as a precautionary method to control the spread of COVID-19,
but in the UAE, educational institutions remain shut and events have been put on hold indefinitely.
In the US, production companies like Netflix, ABC and Disney, amongst others, have decided to halt the production of TV shows and movie screening.
In a statement released by Disney, they said, “after considering the current environment and the best interests of our cast and crew, we have made the decision to pause production on some of our live-action films for a short time.”
Hopefully this all blows over soon *fingers crossed*.
