The Kuwaiti Cabinet held yesterday its weekly session, chaired by Prime Minister of Kuwait H H Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah.

After the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al Saleh said in remarks carried by Kuwait News Agency that the Cabinet was briefed on the message received by Amir of the State of Kuwait, H H Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, from Amir of Qatar, H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.


In the letter, H H the Amir of Qatar expressed his appreciation to H H the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, for their sincere efforts to resolve the Gulf crisis.

The Cabinet, in this regard, expressed content over the positive setting in which the Summit will be held, adding that it reflected the sense of responsibility and belief in the importance of enhancing GCC solidarity to face the grave challenges facing the region.

They also expressed their content regarding the prospects of the latest efforts in yielding positive results that enhances joint interests and leads to further prosperity.
