Kuwait extends deadline for expats to amend residency status

Interior Minister Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali issued a decision to extend the deadline for residence violators who wish to amend their status.

The deadline was on 31st Dec 2020, now it has been extended to the end of January 2021 to give another opportunity to residency violators to amend their status.

Residence violators who have not amended their status will be subjected to penalties prescribed legally.

The violators will be deported and not allowed to return again.
