A Kuwaiti official said on Tuesday that his country is expected to invest 20 billion U.S. dollars in the civil aviation in the next decade, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
According to Sheikh Salman, the investments will be used to improve the capacity of Kuwait International Airport and related services.
A new air traffic control tower of the airport is under construction, the Kuwaiti official added.
The Global Aviation Summit, which kicked off on Tuesday in Mumbai, brought together airplane manufacturers, investors, bank officials and skill development agencies from different parts of the world.
