The Criminal Court acquitted a citizen and his friend who smashed into a concrete barricade along King Fahd Road of possessing intoxicants.

The prosecuting officer testified receiving a call from the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry about an accident on the King Fahd Road, and when he arrived at the scene, he saw the second accused coming out of the vehicle without injury but a transparent nylon bag containing a piece of cigarette fell from his pockets, while a suspicious substance was found at the feet of the first accused.
