Kuwaiti Fatwa: ‘Any infected patient who violates medical quarantine is sinful’ : Google

The Endowments and Islamic Affairs Ministry has issued a fatwa (religious ruling) stating that any infected person who does not respect quarantine measures is being “sinful”.


The ministry urged all those infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) to keep away from healthy people and isolated themselves.

Meanwhile, the Interior Ministry has launched a nationwide campaign to clampdown on expatriates who break quarantine period.

The authorities have warned that expatriates who do so would face deportation from the country.
