Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) has requested for renewal of a contract to upgrade the boilers (numbers one to six) in unit number 29 in Mina Ahmadi Refinery at a cost of KD14.69 million with Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Company as the latter is the only entity that can do the job well, reports Al-Anba daily.
