Made in Qatar companies such as Wholesome Oasis Food Factory, Bin Aman Plastic Industries, Nafco, Qatar Tunisian Food, Al Wajba Dairy and Juices, Qatar Food Industries, Global Detergent Factory, Gulf Food Production and Qatar Food Factories, will be the starting brands exporting to Kuwait talabat Mart.
Initially, local brands were invited to sell their products through talabat Mart in Qatar, followed by a dedicated talabat collection titled ‘+974’ to highlight home-made products only.
Currently, the app is leveraging its talabat Mart network across the region to look at ways to help grow these local brands further – starting with Kuwait.
Francisco De Sousa, talabat Qatar’s managing director said:
“talabat is extremely proud of ‘Made in Qatar’ brands as they portray the true potential our beloved Qatar has.
For a long time, we’ve stood close by them and uninterruptedly promoted them heavily through our platform.
We realised the potential this category of products can have within our regional network, where we will soon be allowing talabat Mart customers in Kuwait enjoy them following a few taps on their phone.
Approximately none of the products have been exported before, and we’re heavily focusing our investment and attention to give ‘Made in Qatar’ brands the place it deserves amongst the region. As we embark on this memorable journey for ‘Made in Qatar’ products, we truly believe this is just the very beginning and expect to slowly introduce them in other neighbouring markets.”
talabat Mart operates in Qatar and across the region, offering grocery delivery in under 30 minutes following a few taps on the app.
In Qatar talabat Mart already offers a variety of ‘Made in Qatar’ brands. To support local brands, customers can find them all listed in the talabat app under the ‘+974’ collection.
