Ramadan TVC “Closer Connection”
Ooredoo’s Ramadan 2016 television commercial is the first joint project between Ooredoo Kuwait, Qatar and Oman; it has reached over 1 million views on YouTube within 48 hours of its release on the first day of Ramadan. The commercial this year has focused on the true spiritual essence of Ramadan, and is entitled “Closer Connection” in reference to the connection between man and God. The star-studded production’s lyrics are written by Emirati lyricist Ali Al-Khawar and the music is composed by Kuwaiti composer Fahad Al-Nasser. The song is a duet performed by Saudi singer Rashed Al-Majed and Egyptian star Angham, and features Tunisian singer Lutfi Boushnaq. The lyrics focus on the simplicity of making a strong connection with God by asking for His help sincerely and honestly, and it touches on the themes of God’s support and unconditional love to all people, regardless of their background.

During the annual ghabka, Ooredoo management has honored the team behind the great success achieved for the Ramadan TVC, including the commercial producer ‘Senyar Productions’ represented by its General Manager Khaled Al Roudan and both Nouf and Badriya Al Roudan.
