Former deputy chief of the military operations and plans, retired Major-General Khaled Al-Rudaini said the situation in the region is red-hot and expects the Iranian regime to respond within 15 days through its proxies in the region,

especially Syria, Iraq and the Gulf, reports Al-Anba daily.

‘We do write off retaliation and certain regimes will be accused through intelligence operations, noting that Iran is in a state anger that will translate into violence as demands to target American interests in the region escalate, especially in the Arabian Gulf.

At the same time, he stressed that Iran will never opt for direct confrontation with the United States, and ‘we do not exclude that we are in the line of Iranian fire because indirect confrontations will reach us.’ He went on to say, ‘We hope everyone will be safe as we are a neutral country and we have a wise leadership that can balance all matters.’
