Males in Kuwait makeup 61.5 per cent of the total population, making it the fourth highest GCC country in terms of its male population.
The age group between 15 and 64 make up 75.4 per cent of Kuwait’s total population, with males being the majority due to several factors, mainly that expats residing in Kuwait tend to be men that work in the labour market.
In terms of expats, those that are between the ages of 25 and 54 comprise 56.3 per cent of that age group. As for expats above the age of 65, they are decreasing due to several residency laws and only make up 2.8 per cent of the total population of Kuwait.
